Wedding Unity Candles

The lighting of the unity candle during your wedding ceremony
is symbolic of two lives & two families coming together as one.
Traditionally the mothers of the bride & groom each light one of the two taper candles
prior to the wedding ceremony & place them on either side of the unity candle.
During the unity candle ceremony the bride and groom
each use the taper candle lit by their mother
to simultaneously light the unity candle.
